Probably the best pub & pub restaurant in England
Absolutely superb – they have got everything just right by paying attention to small details. A warm welcome, a great selection of beers and wines plus really top quality food prepared by a chef who is really on top of his game. Even on a very busy Friday night the service was smooth, efficient and friendly. And if you book a room direct with them they give you a welcome drink on the house. The rooms themselves are also great value. Again they are clean & bright with a nice comfortable bed with crisp fresh bedding. The whole stay was an enjoyable experience and we would go out of our way to stay here again. Very highly recommended.
