Uffington is on the first floor with windows facing to the front, and boasts lots of the original timber framing, that we discovered when the rooms were renovated. There is a sumptuous king size bed with an upholstered headboard, and there is space for an infant in a cot. The room is decorated in creams and greys and dressed in greens, teals and fawn, with antique dark wood furniture. The spacious sea green luxury ensuite has a large ‘rain’ shower over a bath. Oh, and don’t worry, it’s not you, the floor really does slope… One well-behaved dog is allowed in this room (for an additional charge).

Small Print

Payment
All reservations will need to be secured with a valid credit or debit card, however you will not be charged until checkout. Pre-payment is possible, please contact us to arrange this. By making a booking you are agreeing to allow us to make charges to the card without any additional consent for cancellations and no-shows, and any loss or damage caused by any of your party during your stay. A £50 charge will be made for lost rooms keys.

Cancellation Policy
We will only accept cancellations made in writing. Bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 72 hours before midday on the arrival date. Rooms cancelled less than 72 hours prior to midday on the arrival date will incur a cancellation charge equal to the full cost of the booking. This charge will also be made for a no-show, when guests don’t arrive and haven’t cancelled. If we are able to re-let the room/s at the full tariff, then we will make a refund of this charge. You may wish to take out travel insurance to cover any risk that you may need to cancel your booking.

Group Bookings
Our payment and cancellation policies differ for group bookings, which are defined as bookings for 3 or more rooms. Individual bookings that are connected and staying at the same time are considered a group booking.

Group bookings of 3-4 rooms can be cancelled up to 14 days in advance of the arrival date. Full or partial cancellations made within 14 days of the arrival date, or any no-shows, may incur a cancellation charge equal to the full cost of the cancelled booking.

Group bookings of 5 or more rooms can be cancelled up to 28 days in advance of the arrival date. Full or partial cancellations made within 28 days of the arrival date, or any no-shows, may incur a cancellation charge equal to the full cost of the cancelled booking.

Where room bookings are made on behalf of others, the person securing the booking with their credit/debit card is deemed to have full responsibility for all the rooms they have booked.

Lost Property
If an item is found in the room after check out, we will be happy to arrange postage to you on request. This service will be subject to a £5 admin fee plus postage and packaging costs.

Non-Smoking Policy
There is a strict non-smoking policy (including e-cigarettes) throughout the entire building. Outdoor smoking areas are well-marked, and special bins provided.

Arrival and Check-In Times
Please note that our check-in times are between 4pm and 8pm. If you need to have an early or late check-in then you must pre-arrange this with us.

Late Check-Ins
If you arrive after our pub closing times without pre-arranging a late check-in, you will not be able to stay with us. You will be considered a no-show and will have to pay our standard cancellation charge.

Check-Out Times
Latest check-out is 10:30am. All late check-outs must be pre-arranged with us.

Breakfast
– 7:30 to 9.30am Monday to Friday
– 8:00 to 10:00am Saturday and Sunday, and Bank Holidays
Let us know if you need to leave early and we can prepare you a breakfast basket

Children
Children of 12 years and under can share with their parents in either of our two suites, sleeping in occasional beds, and are charged at £25.00 per night. Children of 13 years and over may stay in their own room, and normal room rates will apply. 

For younger ones, four of our rooms have space for a travel cot. You may bring your own cot, or we have a travel cot that you are welcome to use (subject to availability) for no extra charge, please request this during booking.

Dogs
Well-behaved dogs are allowed to sleep in some of our rooms (but not on the beds). Childrey and Uffington can accommodate one medium-sized dog each, and Lambourn can accommodate two. Dogs are provided with a water/feed bowl, a towel for muddy paws, a poo bag and welcome chew. Their owners will need to bring their own dog bedding. There is an additional £20.00 charge per dog per night. Please let us know at the time of booking if you would like your dog to stay with you. Please note that bookings for dogs can only be made directly with us, and not through 3rd party sites.

Accessibility
Please note that all of our bedrooms are upstairs. Please let us know if we can help you with your luggage from the car park.

Please note that for special events, packages and at certain times of the year, our booking terms and conditions may differ. You will be notified of this at reservation stage if this is the case.
