Junior Sous Chef
What we're looking for
As a Junior Sous Chef at The Greyhound Inn, you will help run the kitchen in a disciplined and systematic manner with strong management skills and the abilities to delegate and develop other staff. You will be responsible on some shifts for maintaining the kitchen and delivering the seasonally changing menu to a consistently high standard.
We are looking for a Junior Sous Chef with a strong fresh food background and someone who understands seasonal produce. This role would suit an experienced Senior Chef De Partie who is looking to develop their career.
You will be working for talented, award-winning Head Chef, John Harrison, who has built a reputation for high quality fresh food. He runs a team of 5 highly skilled and motivated staff, who consistently deliver a memorable meal and experience to our guests and residents. With an entry in The Good Food Guide since 2023 as well as two AA Rosettes you will be joining at a very exciting time for the business. Your leadership and ideas will be essential in helping us drive forward to the next level.
Full-time, 4.5 days per week
