As a member of the Front of House team at The Greyhound Inn, you will be responsible for making every guest’s visit to us a relaxing and enjoyable experience, providing a professional service but with warmth and personality.

Looking after our overnight guests from the moment they appear for breakfast until they leave for the day, your role will include: opening up the pub in the morning, welcoming guests for breakfast, taking breakfast orders, dealing with customer requests and serving food and drinks, preparing bills for guest checking out and taking payment. Local knowledge is a bonus as guest are always looking for advice about how to spend their time during their stay.

Previous experience in a similar setting would be ideal but with general hospitality and customer service skills we can provide training to fill in any gaps

If you are seeking further hours, and have relevant experience, there will also be opportunities to stay on and help with lunch service.
