What we're looking for
As Assistant Manager at The Greyhound Inn, you will help our Front of House Manager to ensure that each guest who visits the pub has a memorable experience and will come back time and time again.
You will have a passion for customer service, a disciplined and systematic manner with strong management and IT skills and the abilities to delegate and develop other staff. You will need to lead by example, supervising and supporting our junior staff to help them complete all tasks to our high standards. Other responsibilities will include dealing with all types of enquiry by email, phone and in person, including the use of various electronic booking systems and checking in/out of accommodation guests.
We are looking for someone with strong bar and waiting experience and a clear passion for hospitality. You should have an outgoing, positive personality, and an ability to lead others, with good organisational and communication skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Full-time, 5 days week, including evenings and weekends
